  • • Own the day-to-day execution of HR operations for Sony Music Entertainment across Latin America, acting as the single point of contact for employee questions on policy, payroll, benefits, and systems from Bogotá to Buenos Aires.
  • • Build and continuously refine a centralized knowledge base in both Spanish and English that houses every policy, FAQ, and process document; ensure it is searchable, up-to-date, and aligned with local labor law nuances in each country where SME operates.
  • • Run monthly and quarterly HR metrics dashboards that track headcount, turnover, engagement pulse scores, and learning completion rates; translate raw data into story-telling visuals that help VPs and A&R directors make faster talent decisions.
  • • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and Legal to audit and approve every new hire, job change, and termination across 7+ LATAM entities; catch discrepancies before they reach employees’ bank accounts and maintain a 99.8 % accuracy rate.
  • • Design and deliver a friction-free onboarding experience for every new artist-facing employee—from playlist curators to marketing coordinators—so they feel part of the Sony family on day one, regardless of whether they log in from MedellĂ­n or Mexico City.
  • • Coordinate virtual orientation sessions, ship branded welcome kits, and track completion of compliance training within the first 30 days, ensuring 100 % adherence to Sony’s global standards.
  • • Serve as the super-user and in-house trainer for Workday, ServiceNow, and the soon-to-launch employee-experience chatbot; create bite-sized video tutorials and host office hours twice a week to boost adoption and self-service rates.
  • • Manage the end-to-end life-cycle of HR tickets: triage requests, assign owners, set SLAs, and follow up until closure; maintain an average resolution time under 24 hours and a CSAT score above 90 %.
  • • Own the regional benefits renewal cycle—health, dental, wellness, and mobility allowances—negotiating with insurers and brokers to secure competitive rates while ensuring plans stay inclusive of same-sex partners and remote-first lifestyles.
  • • Plan and execute culture-building initiatives such as virtual cafecito chats, Latin Grammy watch parties, and mental-health weeks; measure participation and sentiment to iterate on what resonates most with our diverse workforce.
  • • Support the annual engagement survey: draft communications, monitor response rates, slice data by country and function, and co-create action plans with local managers to close identified gaps within 90 days.
  • • Champion continuous improvement by mapping current HR workflows, spotting bottlenecks, and proposing automation or policy tweaks; pilot changes in one country before scaling region-wide.
  • • Maintain strict confidentiality of artist contracts, compensation data, and personal information; implement role-based access controls and conduct quarterly access reviews to stay ahead of evolving data-privacy regulations.
  • • Collaborate with the global People Experience team in New York and London to roll out new programs—like flexible public holidays or AI-driven career-pathing tools—adapting them to local cultures and labor frameworks.
  • • Act as a cultural ambassador who embodies Sony’s values of artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship, ensuring every process you touch amplifies the creative spirit that defines Sony Music Entertainment.
