- • As the first dedicated Analytics Engineer at Lexroom.ai, you will design and build the foundational data infrastructure that powers decision-making across product, engineering, and business teams—directly enabling the company’s mission to make legal AI faster, clearer, and more reliable for thousands of legal professionals across Europe.
- • You will own the end-to-end data transformation layer using dbt on BigQuery, creating trusted, documented datasets from raw sources including product analytics events, engineering metrics, and business KPIs, while establishing data quality frameworks, SLAs, and self-service analytics capabilities that empower Product, CS, and Sales teams to derive insights independently.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineers to improve event tracking and data contracts at the source (Pub/Sub, application events), partner with the AI & Search Platform team to measure model performance and feedback loops, and support Product teams with ad-hoc analysis on feature impact, user segmentation, and satisfaction trends—ensuring data drives product and business decisions.
- • You will join a world-class, purpose-driven team in Milan where innovation is balanced with rigor, and your work will have immediate strategic impact as you shape the analytics function from scratch with executive sponsorship and a modern stack (BigQuery, dbt, Pub/Sub, Python, GCP).

🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a data analyst role with a strong engineering mindset
- • Expert SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt (dbt Core or dbt Cloud)
- • Solid experience with BigQuery or comparable cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift)
- • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data testing, and documentation-as-code practices
- • Comfortable working in a Python ecosystem (scripting, basic ETL, notebooks for exploration)
- • Experience building data models that serve multiple stakeholders (product, engineering, business)
- • Fluent English; Italian is a strong plus
