Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• • As an Analytics Engineer at Almedia Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation by ensuring that data is clean, reliable, and accessible for analysis. Your work will directly support the company’s mission to become Germany’s second bootstrapped unicorn by powering scalable analytics infrastructure that serves product, marketing, and business teams.
• • You will design, build, and maintain scalable data models using SQL and dbt, applying software engineering best practices such as version control, testing, and CI/CD to ensure data quality and reliability. This includes automating data validation, monitoring data integrity, performing root cause analysis on issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation so that business users can confidently self-serve insights.
• • You will take ownership of data analysis for a specific domain, collaborating closely with Product Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into robust data solutions. This involves training business users on how to effectively use the data platform and visualisation tools, empowering them to derive actionable insights independently.
