• • As an Analytics Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between complex business needs and robust data solutions. You will translate these needs into data products that are strategically aligned with our overarching data platform strategy. This involves a proactive approach to understanding business objectives and meticulously designing and implementing data pipelines and models that support them. You will be a key player in negotiating with stakeholders to define an impact-driven data strategy, ensuring that our data initiatives are focused on delivering tangible business value and driving growth.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves mentorship. You will have the opportunity to mentor fellow Swilers, sharing your expertise in data usage and techniques. This will foster a culture of data literacy and decentralization across the organization, empowering teams to leverage data effectively in their day-to-day operations. Your guidance will be crucial in enhancing the overall data knowledge and capabilities within Swile.
• • Your technical responsibilities will be extensive and critical to our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT routines and data pipelines, ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of data. A strong emphasis will be placed on implementing CI/CD routines specifically for data quality, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of the data our business relies on. Furthermore, you will be tasked with creating, managing, and meticulously documenting data models using dbt (Data Build Tool). This will ensure not only data quality but also the efficiency and scalability of our data warehouse, making it easier for teams to access and utilize data.
• • To enable data-driven decision-making across the company, you will utilize Metabase to create intuitive and insightful visual dashboards and reports. These tools will transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling business teams to understand trends, identify opportunities, and make informed strategic choices. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable visualizations will be highly valued.
• • Designing and implementing efficient data storage solutions is another core component of this role. You will work with Snowflake, a leading cloud data platform, to build and optimize our data warehouse, ensuring it can support our growing analytical needs. Collaboration is key at Swile. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to deeply understand their business needs and translate them into clear, concise technical requirements. This collaborative approach ensures that our data solutions are aligned with the broader company goals.

You will proactively identify and address any issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
