  • • As an Anterior Consumables Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our existing customer base for equipment and consumables, while simultaneously driving new business growth through the sale of consumables and liquids. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding our market share within the surgical sector.
  • • You will be responsible for achieving ambitious annual sales budgets and developing comprehensive annual business plans tailored to meet specific territory objectives. Proactive pipeline management is essential, requiring accurate monthly forecasting of consumable and liquid sales opportunities.
  • • Success in this role hinges on your ability to operate effectively within a team environment, fostering collaboration and synergy with colleagues. You will be expected to cultivate deep clinical and technical knowledge of our product offerings, coupled with a strong understanding of the surgical market's business dynamics.
  • • Maintaining the highest standards of business ethics and professionalism is paramount. You will represent ZEISS with integrity and dedication, ensuring all interactions reflect our company values.
  • • A key responsibility includes providing weekly reports on your activities, offering insights into market trends, competitive activities, and potential areas for improvement or innovation to management.
  • • You will be expected to maintain currency with and strictly adhere to applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal employment laws.
  • • Your primary objective will be to attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for your assigned region, all while meticulously managing within a defined expense budget.
  • • Collaboration is key; you will work effectively within a team to facilitate lead sharing, protect the installed base, drive new consumable and liquid sales, and foster overall account development.
  • • You will conduct scheduled, personalized sales demonstrations, presenting our products to surgeons, operating room staff, and administrative personnel within your territory.
  • • Efficient territory management is vital. You will maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records and other relevant information to effectively organize, plan, execute, and measure your sales performance.
  • • A significant part of your role involves educating and following up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration. This includes ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the operation, utilization, and application of our products to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction and product efficacy.
  • • You will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management, detailing your expected sales activities and plans for the upcoming month.
  • • You will operate a specific cost center, demonstrating strong business acumen by effectively controlling sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.
  • • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce (SFDC) is crucial, including detailed reports, dashboards, and updates related to opportunities, leads, and the overall sales funnel.
  • • You will actively seek and develop synergy opportunities with other ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service teams, and other corporate partners, leveraging cross-functional collaboration to maximize business potential.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to understanding and addressing the evolving needs of the surgical market, contributing to ZEISS's continued leadership in medical technology.
