- • Deepgram is at the forefront of the rapidly expanding Voice AI economy, providing essential real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and the development of production-grade voice agents at scale. Our technology is the backbone for over 200,000 developers and more than 1,300 organizations, powering innovative voice offerings from industry leaders like Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. We offer unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency through cloud APIs, as well as self-hosted and on-premises software solutions. With a recent Series C funding round led by prominent global investors, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words, solidifying our position as the world's foremost authority on voice technology. This role is critical in expanding our reach and impact within the vital Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
- • As the APAC Partner Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in building and scaling Deepgram’s partner ecosystem across a strategically crucial and high-growth region, encompassing ANZ, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, India, and Greater China. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sophisticated go-to-market (GTM) strategies, including sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with motions, in close collaboration with a diverse range of strategic partners. These partners include major hyperscalers, independent software vendors (ISVs), leading contact center as a service (CCaaS) and customer experience (CX) platforms, global system integrators (GSIs), telecommunications companies (telcos), and regional system integrators. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a builder-oriented mindset, focused on significantly increasing partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue across the varied and dynamic APAC markets. You will work hand-in-hand with our Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and global partner teams to firmly establish Deepgram as the preeminent Voice AI platform in the region.
- • Your day-to-day activities will involve cultivating and nurturing strategic partner relationships across the entire APAC territory. This includes developing compelling joint value propositions that resonate with local market needs, crafting comprehensive GTM plans, and implementing effective regional co-sell motions designed to maximize mutual success. You will be tasked with positioning Deepgram as an indispensable strategic partner within key technology ecosystems throughout the region, ensuring our voice AI solutions are top-of-mind for partners and their customers. A significant part of your role will be dedicated to driving sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with engagements, working closely with hyperscalers, ISVs, CCaaS/CX platforms, GSIs, telcos, and regional integrators to generate and accelerate pipeline. You will actively support co-sell opportunities by participating in customer meetings, delivering impactful presentations, conducting workshops, and engaging in negotiations to close deals.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new partner-driven opportunities across the specified APAC markets, meticulously monitoring pipeline progression, and maintaining rigorous forecasting discipline to ensure alignment with global revenue and partnership objectives. A key aspect of your role will be to expand the APAC partner ecosystem by identifying and onboarding new strategic partners who align with Deepgram’s platform vision and regional expansion priorities. You will play a pivotal role in launching new partner motions, regional programs, and GTM initiatives, collaborating closely with internal teams to develop essential partner enablement content, localized assets, and solution positioning that empowers our partners to succeed.
- • You will also serve as a key representative of Deepgram within the APAC region, actively participating in regional partner and customer engagements, both virtually and in person. Staying abreast of the latest APAC market trends, competitive landscapes, AI adoption patterns, evolving regulatory requirements, and sovereign AI initiatives will be crucial. You will act as a strategic advocate for the unique needs and opportunities within the APAC market, providing valuable insights to internal teams. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of AI partnerships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, contributing directly to Deepgram's global growth and success.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business development, partnerships, alliance management, or enterprise sales within the technology sector, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue through strategic partnerships and co-sell motions specifically across APAC markets. A deep understanding of APAC business dynamics and hands-on experience operating across multiple regions such as ANZ, ASEAN, Japan, Korea, India, and/or Greater China is essential. Familiarity with partnering with cloud providers, ISVs, GSIs, telcos, CCaaS/CX platforms, or regional system integrators is highly valued. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are paramount, complemented by an analytical mindset with strong operational and forecasting discipline. The ability to be a self-starter, thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones is critical. A willingness to travel across APAC as needed is also required. Experience within AI, Voice AI, Speech AI, CCaaS, or adjacent technology markets is a significant advantage, as are existing relationships within major cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure), APAC GSIs, telcos, or regional ecosystem partners. Experience launching new partner motions or regional GTM programs from inception is highly desirable, as is working proficiency in a second APAC language like Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or Bahasa.
- • About the team and company: Deepgram is a rapidly growing company backed by prominent investors including Y Combinator, Madrona, Tiger Global, Wing VC, and NVIDIA, having raised over $215M in total funding. We are an AI-first organization, expecting all team members to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrating them into their daily workflows and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. We operate at the pace of AI, embracing rapid change and encouraging continuous learning and adaptation. Our culture is built on curiosity, collaboration, doing the right thing, putting customers first, growing together, and moving quickly. We are committed to equal opportunity and fostering a diverse workforce where all voices and perspectives are represented.
- • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and scale a critical partner ecosystem in one of the world's most dynamic technology markets. You will gain invaluable experience in building GTM strategies from the ground up, forging strategic alliances with leading technology companies, and driving significant revenue growth in the burgeoning Voice AI sector. You will become an expert in navigating complex regional business landscapes and contributing to the global expansion of a category-defining AI platform. This position offers substantial professional development, exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the future of enterprise voice applications.
