- • As an APAC People Ops Generalist based in Seoul, you will play a critical role in scaling Speak AI’s operations across Korea, Japan, and Taiwan by managing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance across three legal entities.
- • Day to day, you will run onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain accurate HRIS data, administer local benefits, support performance reviews and engagement surveys, track regulatory changes, and serve as the go-to resource for APAC employees on People Ops matters.
- • You will partner with the Global People Ops team to align global processes with local nuances, while helping to document, improve, and automate workflows using AI and process improvements to increase team capacity.
- • The People Ops team operates lean but is expanding rapidly as Speak scales across APAC; you will help turn effective practices into scalable infrastructure, contributing directly to the company’s ability to grow sustainably across markets.
- • In this role, you will gain end-to-end experience in multi-market HR operations, develop expertise in compliance and process design, and have the opportunity to shape foundational People Ops systems at a high-growth AI company backed by top-tier investors.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4~6 years of experience in people operations, HR, or a related field
- • Strong project management skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems, build plans, and see them through
- • Excellent communication and high EQ, with experience navigating sensitive conversations and aligning multiple stakeholders
- • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with limited direction and making confident trade-offs under pressure
- • Ability to communicate effectively in English for day-to-day collaboration and business writing
