  • • The APAC Sales Development Leader will build and lead OpenAI’s enterprise Sales Development organization across Asia Pacific, driving pipeline generation and market development for enterprise AI adoption.
  • • Day to day responsibilities include hiring and developing SDR managers and teams, defining regional pipeline strategy, translating product usage and developer engagement into qualified opportunities, and partnering with Sales, Marketing, Field Engineering, and Strategy & Ops to execute coordinated GTM motions.
  • • The role sits within OpenAI’s Enterprise Go-To-Market organization, which partners with organizations across Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology, and other key industries in APAC to scale AI-powered solutions and turn early adoption into durable enterprise deployments.
  • • The leader will build scalable outbound, inbound, ABM, partner-led, and product-led pipeline playbooks, establish data-driven operating cadences, and help define OpenAI’s market expansion strategy across APAC while coaching leaders and influencing senior stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, revenue, or GTM leadership
  • • Significant experience leading SDR or pipeline generation organizations across APAC
  • • Experience managing distributed, multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones
  • • Experience building or scaling enterprise demand generation engines in fast-growing technology or platform businesses
  • • Fluency in product-led and usage-based GTM motions (PQLs, pilots, free-to-paid, expansion)
  • • Strong data-driven background with expertise in forecasting, pipeline analytics, and operational rigor
