📋 Description

  • As the APAC Social Media Manager at Oliverseapac, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the social media strategy across the dynamic Asia-Pacific region. This pivotal role involves developing and driving owned social platform strategies that align seamlessly with overarching business objectives and brand positioning. You will be the architect of our social media presence on key platforms such as Meta, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn, ensuring our brand resonates effectively with diverse audiences across APAC.
  • A core responsibility will be the management of the APAC Social Booster Program. This encompasses overseeing operations, financial aspects, strategic learnings, and rigorous performance tracking. You will be tasked with developing sophisticated audience strategies tailored for each platform, aiming to enhance effectiveness and relevance, thereby deepening audience engagement and connection.
  • You will guide agency partners in developing insightful booster and owned channel performance learnings, leveraging frameworks like the Social Health Index to ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. This collaborative approach ensures that our social media efforts are not only creative but also strategically sound and measurable.
  • Leading APAC account management is another critical facet of this role. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of account governance, including the processes for opening and closing accounts, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across the region.
  • The role demands the development and management of comprehensive social marketing activities for the APAC region. This includes crafting and implementing always-on content strategies, as well as designing and executing impactful social campaigns that drive specific results, particularly in support of product and service activations.
  • You will be responsible for the meticulous management and organization of all owned social media channels. This includes the creation and maintenance of detailed content calendars, scheduling and publishing content, and actively engaging in community management to foster a vibrant online presence.
  • Overseeing all content published on owned social channels is paramount. This involves ensuring the quality and consistency of copy, creative assets, and overall messaging. You will liaise closely with internal stakeholders to source necessary assets, including images, videos, copy, and design elements, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative.
  • Financial stewardship is key, as you will manage APAC's social budget and oversee the social budgets of individual countries within the region. This requires careful planning, allocation, and tracking to maximize ROI and achieve strategic goals.
  • You will lead the development and execution of integrated social media campaigns and programs across the entire APAC region, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines while adapting to local market nuances.
  • A significant part of your role will involve monitoring social media trends and competitor activity across the APAC landscape. This proactive approach will enable you to identify emerging opportunities, mitigate potential risks, and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Developing and implementing robust social media crisis management plans is essential to protect the brand's reputation and ensure swift, effective responses to any challenging situations.
  • You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to ensure a unified social strategy and execution that effectively captures and amplifies the brand’s presence and engagement with end-users.
  • A strong emphasis will be placed on analytics and reporting. You will track audience growth, measure campaign-specific metrics, and generate insightful reports that inform future strategies and demonstrate the impact of social media efforts.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with influencers across various verticals is crucial for increasing authentic advocacy and fostering genuine brand love within the APAC market.
  • You will be responsible for collecting and sharing valuable insights and trends observed from social communities, feeding this intelligence back into the organization to continuously improve future campaigns and strategies.
  • In addition to ongoing responsibilities, you will also contribute to special projects throughout the year, offering opportunities to engage with innovative initiatives and drive new areas of growth.
  • The role requires a deep understanding and passion for AI and new technologies, reflecting Oliverseapac's commitment to leveraging cutting-edge solutions. While direct AI tool experience is beneficial, a strong ability to learn and articulate the benefits of AI tools is critical for success in this forward-thinking organization.
