📋 Description

• As an Application Architect at Tiger Analytics, you will lead the modernization and design of mission-critical applications that power AI-driven solutions for Fortune 100 clients, directly impacting how organizations leverage data and technology to solve complex business problems at scale.
• You will translate business needs into robust, secure, and scalable technical architectures, ensuring systems are resilient, high-performing, and aligned with cloud-native best practices across hybrid environments.
• Day to day, you will lead modernization initiatives transforming legacy systems into cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP; design API-first ecosystems with RESTful and event-driven interfaces; build and optimize event-driven systems using Kafka and similar streaming platforms; implement API gateways for security, throttling, and monitoring; architect distributed systems with low latency and high throughput; design full-stack solutions spanning frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers; enforce zero-trust security principles including authentication, authorization, and encryption; drive deployments across cloud and on-prem/hybrid setups; ensure responsive UX for desktop and mobile users; and establish architecture standards, scalability patterns, and performance benchmarks.
• You will join a global team of engineers and data specialists at Tiger Analytics, a fast-growing innovator in AI and analytics with offices in the US, UK, India, and Singapore, serving Fortune 100 clients with bespoke data-powered solutions and fostering an entrepreneurial, challenge-driven culture.
• The team values hands-on builders who thrive in ambiguous, high-impact environments, where architecture decisions directly enable AI-first re-imagined processes and intelligent operations for diverse user personas.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and API-led modernization while shaping the technical foundation of AI-powered applications used by global enterprises.
• You will gain influence as a technical leader, mentoring engineers, defining architectural guardrails, and driving adoption of SRE, DevOps, and security best practices across cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and modernization
• Strong hands-on full-stack experience across modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular), backend services (Spring Boot/Node.js/FastAPI), APIs, and databases (NoSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Proven experience building high-volume, transaction-heavy systems with strict latency requirements
• Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, API management, and gateway design (including Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Okta, Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with SRE techniques such as chaos engineering, performance engineering, toil reduction, and reliability engineering
• Solid experience in security architecture and compliance, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and zero-trust principles
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership skills
