- • The Applications Architect evaluates business needs and determines how IT can support them using software, hardware, or infrastructure, playing a critical role in aligning technology with organizational goals at Baldwin Technology Company Inc.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing internal and external system solutions, collaborating with business and tech teams to build enhancements, reviewing developer code for design pattern alignment, coaching development teams on coding standards, and working with Digital Product Managers, BAs, and developers to create client solutions.
- • The role operates within Baldwin Technology Company Inc.'s IT organization, serving as a technical liaison between IT, business owners, clients, and external partners while supporting initiatives like revenue onboarding, IT budgeting, and application delivery governance.
- • The Applications Architect will deepen expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and solution design while developing leadership and communication skills through cross-functional collaboration and mentoring opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field
- • 5+ years of experience working in Insurance or Financial Services
- • 5+ years of experience in a solution architect role
- • 7+ years of overall development experience
- • Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments strongly desired
- • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
