📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Sapio Sciences and EMEA customers, configuring and deploying the company’s LIMS, ELN, and SDMS platforms to meet specific laboratory workflows and operational needs.
• Develop deep expertise in Sapio’s unified lab informatics platform, including its architecture, configuration options, and integration capabilities with scientific instruments and data systems.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate customer requirements into technical configurations that align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of Sapio solutions for customers across Europe, ensuring seamless implementation from initial setup through go-live and post-deployment support.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions to laboratory professionals, bioinformaticians, and IT staff on the use, configuration, and maintenance of Sapio’s software tools.
• Provide ongoing customer support via the designated support portal on a rotating basis, resolving technical issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain meticulous documentation for all deployment activities, adhering to Sapio’s agile methodology and ensuring audit-ready records for compliance and knowledge transfer.
• Work remotely from home with regular in-person collaboration at the London office (210 Euston Road) to align with the EMEA Solutions Lead and cross-functional teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their scientific workflows and recommending optimal configurations that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex software configurations and identify root causes of system issues in laboratory informatics environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes by sharing insights from customer engagements and proposing enhancements to product configuration workflows.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, integrity, and empathy in all customer interactions, reflecting Sapio’s EMBRACE values in daily work.
• Stay current with advancements in laboratory informatics, AI-driven data management, and scientific software trends to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and relevant.
• Balance multiple customer projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines across a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development and support strategies, directly influencing platform evolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Strong programming skills with detailed knowledge of Java
• Experience working with JIRA in a support or delivery capacity
• Knowledge of one or more of: GWT, MySQL, Oracle, Tomcat, Linux, AWS
• Experience introducing new IT or informatics solutions into a laboratory setting
• An interest in learning about LIMS, ELN, & similar scientific software within a laboratory or informatics setting
