• • As an Application Engineer, AI Physics, you will collaborate closely with the Rescale AI/ML team to conceptualize, build, and deploy innovative AI Physics features. Your responsibilities will extend to actively engaging with customers, applying these newly developed capabilities to their real-world simulation data and complex engineering workflows.
• • The role is fundamentally product-centric, meaning your interactions with customers are designed to generate actionable insights that directly inform and enhance reusable product features and capabilities. This feedback loop is crucial for our continuous improvement and innovation.
• • This position is ideally suited for engineers who possess a deep passion for working within codebases, rigorously testing new technologies with actual users, and transforming nascent prototypes into robust, scalable product offerings.
• • Your core responsibilities will include:
• • Developing and launching cutting-edge AI Physics capabilities in close partnership with the Rescale AI/ML team.
• • Transforming raw customer simulation data into sophisticated AI-ready pipelines by leveraging the core AI Physics product.
• • Executing and fortifying early-stage Proofs of Concept (POCs) to ensure they are repeatable, reusable, and ready for production environments.
• • Diagnosing and resolving complex issues that span data preprocessing, model development, inference, and workflow orchestration.
• • Engaging directly with customer engineers to gain a profound understanding of their unique workflows, operational challenges, and technical limitations.
• • Identifying and bridging any gaps between existing customer workflows and the current product capabilities, channeling these concrete learnings back into the product roadmap for strategic development.
• • Functioning primarily as a builder, with the flexibility to be deployed on critical customer engagements when necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• • This role is instrumental in ensuring that Rescale's AI Physics capabilities are not only technically superior but also practical, scalable, and highly trusted by engineering teams worldwide. Your contributions will directly shape the product's future direction, drive customer adoption, and guarantee the success of AI Physics deployments in production environments.
