📋 Description

• • As an Application Engineer II at HighLevel Inc., you will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the core infrastructure of an AI-powered business operating system that supports over 1 million businesses globally. Your work directly contributes to the platform’s ability to handle massive scale — processing billions of API hits and message events daily — ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability for agencies, entrepreneurs, and SMBs.
• • Day to day, you will design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using modern programming languages and frameworks; troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a high-traffic, distributed system; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements; write clean, testable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices; and help optimize system performance and resource utilization across 250+ microservices and 250 terabytes of distributed data.
