📋 Description
- • Application Support Engineer role focused on maintaining and supporting the firm’s global cryptocurrency trading exchange platform, which operates 24x7 and is critical to business continuity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing L2/L3 technical support to business users, troubleshooting production issues across the exchange platform, risk management system, backoffice, and market data systems, and ensuring system stability and performance.
- • The Exchange Support team has full ownership of the production environment for all key business lines and operates in a high-availability, mission-critical environment requiring proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in financial technology systems, gain hands-on experience with crypto exchange infrastructure, and grow into a trusted technical advisor within a global, innovative fintech organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong technical background with experience in application support, systems administration, or IT operations in a financial or high-availability environment.
- • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex software issues across trading platforms, risk systems, or market data feeds.
- • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and monitoring tools.
- • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with business users, traders, and technical teams during incidents.
- • Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
