- • As an Applied AI Engineer at Nexxa s.r.l., you will work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI solutions that enable autonomous decision-making in heavy industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and logistics.
- • Day to day, you will engage with customers to understand their workflows and technical needs, architect custom solutions using Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, lead full project lifecycles from scoping to deployment, integrate and optimize AI/ML pipelines, build scalable software integrations via APIs and containerized systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack, act as a trusted technical advisor, partner with internal teams to shape product roadmap, produce technical documentation and runbooks, and mentor junior engineers.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Nexxa.ai focused on translating deep technical breakthroughs into operational reality for industrial AI, solving some of the hardest systems-level problems in heavy industries through applied artificial intelligence.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in deploying generative AI and computer vision in real-world settings, strengthen your end-to-end solution delivery skills, grow as a technical leader and customer advisor, and contribute to shaping both customer outcomes and internal product direction through hands-on innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10+ years in engineering roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, ML Engineer, Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant
- • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar production-oriented languages
- • Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, including training, fine-tuning, evaluating, or deploying models
- • Direct experience with Generative AI (LLMs, multimodal models) applied to real-world problems
- • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
