📋 Description

• Build and ship AI-powered features end-to-end, from model behavior design to system implementation and user experience delivery.
• Design and iterate on prompts, tool usage, memory systems, and agent workflows to enable reliable multi-step reasoning and task completion.
• Transform raw large language model outputs into structured, predictable, and production-ready behaviors that handle real-world variability.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, including model performance, orchestration logic, infrastructure, and user interface.
• Optimize systems for latency, cost efficiency, and production reliability under non-deterministic model behavior conditions.
• Develop lightweight evaluation frameworks to measure real-world performance and drive iterative improvements based on user data.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate ambiguous, high-impact problems into functional, reliable AI systems.
• Ensure ML models in production meet defined targets for accuracy, latency, and reliability across diverse user scenarios.
• Identify, diagnose, and address production issues quickly with root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
• Maintain robust, reproducible, and maintainable data pipelines, training loops, and inference systems that support continuous deployment.
• Work across abstraction layers—from model architecture to infrastructure to product interface—with equal fluency and ownership.
• Drive continuous improvement through a bias toward shipping, iteration, and measurable outcomes over theoretical perfection.
• Contribute to a small, high-performing team that values collective decision-making, rapid execution, and independent judgment.
• Deliver AI features that enable proactive, persistent, and context-aware assistance for everyday tasks including conversations, errands, organization, and workflows.
• Ensure system reliability despite non-deterministic model behavior by implementing guardrails, fallbacks, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Integrate with external tools and APIs to extend AI capabilities into real-world workflows and user environments.
• Leverage vector databases and modern inference serving systems (e.g., vLLM) to support scalable, low-latency AI interactions.
• Apply Python, PyTorch, and JAX to prototype, train, fine-tune, and deploy neural network models in production settings.
• Work with open and proprietary LLMs including OpenAI-style APIs, LLaMA, Qwen, and similar architectures to align model behavior with product goals.
• Participate in a transparent, efficient interview process with technical team members, involving virtual and/or onsite meetings.
• Contribute to building a truly magical AI product that delivers practical, daily value to billions of users globally.

• Strong foundation in machine learning and modern neural network architectures
• Hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, or deploying ML models
• Ability to write clean, production-quality code
• Comfort working across abstraction layers (model → infra → product)
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Bias toward shipping, iteration, and continuous improvement
