- • Own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy for a portfolio of no more than seven SMB B2B clients, ensuring consistent achievement of SQL targets using Directive’s Customer Generation methodology.
- • Design and execute data-driven digital marketing campaigns across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, and Video channels tailored specifically to the SaaS marketplace.
- • Serve as the primary client liaison, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders through clear, empathetic, and confident communication.
- • Pitch and present comprehensive marketing strategies to clients, demonstrating measurable impact and exceeding performance expectations.
- • Project manage all client initiatives with precision, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and cross-functional coordination.
- • Maintain deep technical expertise in performance marketing tactics for B2B tech companies, with a focus on metrics that drive actual customer acquisition rather than vanity KPIs.
- • Continuously analyze campaign performance data to optimize spend, improve conversion rates, and refine targeting strategies across digital channels.
- • Stay ahead of industry trends by actively researching and integrating emerging tools, including AI and automation, to enhance marketing efficiency and client outcomes.
- • Operate as a T-shaped marketer with specialized depth in Paid, SEO, and CRO, while maintaining broad understanding of integrated digital marketing ecosystems.
- • Deliver consistent, high-impact results as an individual contributor, taking full ownership of client success without reliance on team handoffs.
- • Collaborate virtually with internal teams using Slack and Zoom, ensuring alignment on client goals, reporting cadence, and strategic pivots.
- • Maintain a professional remote work environment with reliable internet, a dedicated workspace, and the ability to remain stationary for extended periods during virtual meetings and campaign analysis.
- • Adhere to Directive’s core values by fostering a client-first, data-driven, and inclusive approach to all client interactions and internal collaborations.
- • Participate in optional annual anniversary trips to Newport Beach, CA, as a recognition of tenure and performance.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Directive’s demand generation offering by sharing insights, feedback, and innovative ideas from client-facing experiences.
- • Ensure all client deliverables meet the agency’s standards for quality, accuracy, and strategic alignment with Customer Generation principles.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SaaS buyer journeys, funnel dynamics, and conversion optimization techniques specific to enterprise and mid-market tech buyers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in agency-side marketing
- • 2+ years of experience in performance marketing
- • Deep expertise in Paid Media, SEO, and CRO for B2B SaaS companies
- • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver results as an individual contributor
- • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering campaigns on time and under budget
- • Availability to travel as needed for client meetings or company events
