- • Senior Claims Examiner at Baldwin Technology Company Inc. (MSI) is a critical role responsible for managing complex, high-severity insurance claims, ensuring rapid resolutions and superior service for policyholders and partners.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage, investigating claim information to assess liability, handling first-party property claims with complex to major severity, setting reserves, engaging experts, negotiating settlements, communicating with all stakeholders, monitoring vendor performance, identifying subrogation opportunities, detecting fraud, overseeing TPAs, mentoring junior examiners, and maintaining accurate claim files.
- • MSI is a leading Managing General Agent (MGA) that combines deep underwriting expertise with insurer risk capacity to deliver specialized insurance solutions across personal and commercial lines, including cyber liability and high-value homeowners, supported by an advanced technology platform that streamlines the policy lifecycle.
- • The role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in complex claims handling, lead initiatives in a growing claims department, mentor junior staff, influence best practices, and contribute to the company’s mission of building insurance better through innovation and customer-centric service.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- • 10+ years of claims adjusting experience, including at least 5 years handling both commercial and residential property claims
- • Florida resident preferred
- • Insurance designations preferred
- • State adjuster licenses preferred
- • Experience with Assignment of Benefits, Public Adjusters, and Attorneys in Florida claims
