• • Build and deploy production-grade AI agents tailored to specific enterprise customer use cases, ensuring measurable improvements in their operational workflows
• • Work embedded within customer environments to develop a deep, firsthand understanding of their business logic, pain points, and existing systems
• • Design, execute, and iterate on evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, using data-driven insights to hill-climb toward meaningful outcome improvements
• • Own end-to-end development of AI solutions—from ideation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring—in high-stakes, real-world enterprise settings
• • Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product teams, and platform engineers to deliver cohesive, reliable, and scalable AI systems that integrate seamlessly into customer workflows
• • Contribute to the development of engineering best practices, reusable agent patterns, and standardized frameworks as the team scales across multiple enterprise deployments
• • Surface actionable insights from customer deployments to inform the evolution of Handshake AI’s core platform and product roadmap
• • Work directly with frontier AI lab researchers and enterprise partners to access high-quality, proprietary datasets and cutting-edge model architectures
• • Translate ambiguous or incomplete customer requirements into executable technical plans, prioritizing impact over perfect specifications
• • Maintain ownership of deployed systems, monitoring performance, addressing degradation, and driving iterative improvements until business metrics move
• • Engage regularly with enterprise customers to articulate technical value, gather feedback, and represent Handshake AI with professionalism and technical authority
• • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation to ensure institutional memory grows alongside the team’s expansion
• • Participate in cross-functional initiatives that align AI deployment outcomes with broader company goals, including revenue growth, customer retention, and product innovation
• • Operate with a founder’s mindset: prioritizing outcomes over tasks, seeking ownership, and treating every deployment as a mission-critical project
• • Maintain rigorous standards for code quality, system reliability, and security compliance in production AI systems deployed in enterprise environments
