- • Deploy Mistral AI products into production environments with significant business impact across diverse industries, working directly with enterprise customers from pre-sale through post-implementation.
- • Collaborate with customers—including CEOs, CTOs, data scientists, and software engineers—to understand technical needs, challenges, and aspirations, and provide tailored guidance on Mistral’s AI solutions.
- • Build and refine state-of-the-art GenAI applications ranging from consumer-facing tools to industrial use cases, driving technological transformation for clients.
- • Work alongside researchers, AI engineers, and product teams to develop complex LLM applications involving fine-tuning, advanced RAG, and agentic systems.
- • Contribute directly to Mistral’s open-source codebases by improving inference and fine-tuning pipelines based on real-world customer deployments.
- • Participate in pre-sales technical discussions to articulate the value and capabilities of Mistral’s models and platforms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Translate customer feedback into actionable product improvements by collaborating with product and science teams to enhance model performance and system capabilities.
- • Manage end-to-end technical engagements on high-complexity customer projects, ensuring seamless integration of Mistral AI solutions into existing enterprise infrastructure.
- • Operate across cloud and on-premises environments to deploy scalable, production-grade AI systems that meet enterprise security, performance, and compliance requirements.
- • Serve as a key technical liaison between Mistral’s internal teams and external clients, externalizing cutting-edge research into practical, scalable applications.
- • Maintain deep technical expertise in machine learning fundamentals, LLM architectures, and cloud infrastructure to support robust, reliable AI deployments.
- • Demonstrate strong communication skills by clearly explaining complex AI concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and non-technical decision-makers.
- • Drive adoption of Mistral’s AI platform by showcasing its capabilities through hands-on demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and customized solutions.
- • Ensure customer success by proactively identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks during deployment and post-launch phases.
- • Stay current with advancements in LLMs, open-source AI tools, and enterprise AI trends to continuously improve deployment strategies and customer outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD or Master’s in AI/Data Science, or equivalent self-taught expertise
- • 7–10+ years as a technical individual contributor in AI-based products (data scientist or software engineer)
- • Proven experience in fine-tuning LLMs and implementing advanced RAG or agentic use cases
- • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, LLM architectures, and cloud infrastructure for AI deployment
- • Demonstrated track record of deploying large-scale, user-facing AI products
- • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
