📋 Description

• • As an Applied Data Scientist III at Compassion International, you will turn the organization’s backlog of AI use cases into scalable, production-ready solutions, combining hands-on technical work with strategic leadership to drive measurable business impact and elevate data science best practices across the enterprise.
• • Day to day, you will develop, analyze, and model operational, program, marketing, and organizational data; perform exploratory data analysis; build and deploy machine learning models end-to-end in AWS (especially SageMaker); translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders; and advocate for AI adoption by partnering with business teams to quantify impact and prioritize high-value use cases.
• • You will join a mission-driven team at Compassion International, a global Christian child development organization committed to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name, where you will uphold cultural behaviors, maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and prioritize child protection in all decision-making.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in production ML systems, AI operationalization, and cross-functional leadership, while gaining experience in standardizing siloed use cases into scalable solutions and influencing enterprise-wide AI adoption through evangelism and stakeholder engagement.
