- • As an AppSec Engineer at Karbon, you will play a critical role in embedding security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that applications and cloud infrastructure are protected against evolving threats while supporting rapid innovation.
- • You will partner with development, product, and operations teams to conduct threat modeling, review designs and code, integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, and assess risks associated with AI-generated code and third-party integrations.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in application security, cloud security (particularly Azure), AI-assisted security tooling, and DevSecOps practices while contributing to a security-first culture in a fast-growing, innovative tech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a security or development role with focus on application security
- • Experience conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of web applications, APIs, and third-party integrations
- • Proficiency with SAST, SCA, and DAST tooling configuration and tuning
- • Experience integrating security tooling into build/deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- • Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), with Azure preferred
- • Familiarity with programming languages/frameworks such as .NET/C#, JavaScript (React/EmberJS), or Python
