📋 Description
- • Lead application security testing and assessment efforts across a complex DoD application portfolio, serving as the technical authority for SAST, DAST, and penetration testing operations while mentoring junior engineers and driving secure development lifecycle improvements program-wide.
- • Oversee SAST operations using Fortify, manage SonarQube continuous code security analysis, lead DAST execution and penetration testing engagements, own vulnerability remediation tracking, and develop assessment report standards to ensure compliance across assigned application portfolios.
- • Collaborate directly with the Cybersecurity Architect on secure SDLC strategy and AppSec governance, influencing how security is embedded across the development pipeline from design through deployment in support of critical national missions.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- • Active TS clearance
- • 6–9 years of experience in application security, penetration testing, or secure software development
- • Advanced proficiency with Fortify and SonarQube
- • Demonstrated experience leading penetration testing engagements and secure code reviews
- • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior AppSec staff
- • DoD 8140.03M DCWF Intermediate tier certification (one of: CEH(P), RCCE Level 1, Cloud+, CPTE, FITSP-A, GCED, GCIH, GCSA, GICSP, GSEC, PenTest+, or Security+)
