- • As a Site Reliability Engineer III in the Aviation organization at Flock Safety, you will design and build scalable, observable systems and tooling to empower development teams to own their full application stack while ensuring reliability and minimizing bottlenecks.
- • Day to day, you will write production-quality code, manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, create and refine monitoring dashboards with Grafana and Prometheus, improve CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate on self-healing, auto-scaling strategies for high availability and cost efficiency.
- • You will join a high-performance, low-ego team at Flock Safety, a leading safety technology platform trusted by over 5,000 communities and 4,500 law enforcement agencies, backed by nearly $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation, where urgency, collaboration, and bold thinking drive impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, observability, and platform engineering, contribute to IoT management tooling for drones and radars, standardize Terraform modules, and participate in security reviews to ensure compliance with CJIS and industry best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in an SRE role with understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
- • Extensive experience writing production-quality code
- • Proficiency with infrastructure as code and/or configuration management (Terraform)
- • Experience managing monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus to create actionable alerts
- • Ability to ensure systems meet internal SLIs and SLOs
- • Experience refining CI/CD processes for reliable and efficient code deployment
- • Familiarity with AWS resource management best practices (e.g., security groups, VPCs)
