- • As an OpenShift Infrastructure Architect at Red Hat Consulting, you will serve as a trusted technical leader across pre-sales and delivery, helping customers define and implement their infrastructure transformation journey using Red Hat OpenShift and hybrid cloud technologies.
- • Day to day, you will engage in customer discovery sessions and workshops, shape technical proposals with Sales teams, design and implement OpenShift-based platforms including OpenShift Virtualization, lead migrations from traditional virtualization, provide technical leadership during delivery, and act as a trusted advisor on infrastructure and platform roadmaps.
- • You will be part of the Red Hat Consulting team, a global group of experts focused on delivering open source solutions that help enterprises modernize infrastructure, consolidate datacenters, and adopt unified platforms for VMs and containers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise architecture, pre-sales engineering, and OpenShift Virtualization, while contributing to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practices that shape Red Hat’s consulting offerings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering roles
- • Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles supporting complex solution sales cycles
- • Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
- • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and migration strategies
- • Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization
- • Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
- • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices
- • Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling
- • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures
- • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- • Red Hat certifications are a plus
