📋 Description

• • The ASG Operating Company Controller role is a critical finance leadership position responsible for owning the financial infrastructure of a growing operating company within ASG’s portfolio of PE-backed SaaS businesses, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations that support scale and investor confidence.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process targeting a sub-5 business day cycle, preparing board and investor-grade financial reporting, building and maintaining SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40), applying US GAAP standards (ASC 606, 842, 830), managing multi-entity consolidations and foreign currency translation, leading external audit readiness, overseeing multi-state and international tax compliance (SALT, GST/HST, VAT), managing payroll accounting across jurisdictions, supporting M&A activities (due diligence, purchase accounting, integration), and driving ERP implementation and optimization (Sage Intacct preferred, NetSuite valued).
