  • • As an M&A Financial Integrator at Deel, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic growth by evaluating and integrating acquisition opportunities that expand its global payroll and HR platform capabilities, directly contributing to Deel’s mission of unlocking global opportunity for every person, team, and business.
  • • You will operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, ensuring that acquired businesses are seamlessly aligned with Deel’s financial, regulatory, and operational infrastructure while maintaining compliance across 150+ countries and supporting the company’s rapid scaling in the global fintech landscape.
  • • Day to day, you will build and maintain sophisticated financial models—including DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and football field valuations—to assess the economics and investment returns of potential acquisition targets aligned with Deel’s strategic objectives.
  • • You will lead and support end-to-end due diligence processes, conducting deep financial, operational, regulatory, tax, and legal analysis of target companies, including scrutiny of financial statements, revenue models, cost structures, and cross-border payment and tax implications.
  • • You will prepare high-impact internal investment materials, financial analyses, and decision-support presentations for leadership and executive stakeholders, translating complex transaction data into clear, actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Payments, and Product to evaluate transaction structures, assess regulatory licensing requirements, and analyze legal entity implications of potential acquisitions in a global context.
  • • You will support the negotiation and structuring of acquisition deals in partnership with internal leaders and external advisors, ensuring terms are financially sound and operationally feasible for integration.
  • • Post-acquisition, you will develop and execute integration plans covering financial reporting, systems (including ERP), and operational processes, aligning acquired entities with Deel’s accounting policies, internal controls, and global compliance standards.
  • • You will monitor post-acquisition integration progress, identify financial or operational risks, and drive process improvements and operational synergies to maximize value realization from transactions.
  • • You will maintain rigorous documentation and analysis supporting all strategic transaction decisions, ensuring audit readiness and knowledge continuity across Deel’s global finance and corporate development functions.
  • • You will contribute to a high-performing, globally distributed team of 7,000+ across 100+ countries, working within a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and inclusion that has earned Deel recognition as a CNBC Disruptor 50, Forbes Cloud 100, and Deloitte Fast 500 company.
  • • In this role, you will develop elite expertise in cross-border M&A within the fintech and HR tech sectors, gaining exposure to complex global transactions that impact millions of workers worldwide—positioning you as a sought-after leader in the future of global work infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4–7 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or transaction advisory with a proven track record in financial modeling and valuation.
  • • Strong expertise in building DCF models, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and football field valuations, with hands-on experience in Excel or similar financial modeling tools.
  • • Demonstrated understanding of cross-border tax considerations, payments infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and legal entity structures, with preference for candidates holding a CPA, legal, or tax background.
