- • Lead scientific oversight of electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) implementation, ensuring accurate translation of endpoint scales into digital platforms with full fidelity to protocol and scoring requirements
- • Drive development and review of eCOA specifications in partnership with vendors to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose system design
- • Own UAT strategy including authoring and reviewing test scripts to validate endpoint logic, workflows, and data integrity across digital systems
- • Lead end-to-end UAT execution, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure successful system delivery and study readiness
- • Lead global scale licensing and copyright strategy to ensure compliant and efficient use of clinical outcome assessments
- • Ensure accurate selection, version control, and implementation of clinical scales aligned with protocol-defined endpoints
- • Oversee translation strategy and vendor execution to ensure high-quality, culturally appropriate instruments across international regions
- • Drive consistency across source scales, translations, and eCOA/eCRF implementations to protect endpoint integrity
- • Design and deliver tailored rater training programs to ensure high-quality, standardized endpoint data collection across clinical sites
- • Define rater qualification standards and support selection of experienced, study-ready site personnel
- • Develop and deploy engaging training and certification programs to drive consistency in scale administration and scoring
- • Monitor rater performance and lead targeted remediation to minimize variability and protect endpoint reliability
- • Apply knowledge of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient-reported outcome measures, to guide assessment design and implementation
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across clinical research and pharmaceutical environments to align assessment strategies with study objectives
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, analysis, and presentation of assessment protocols and results
- • Travel up to 20% as necessary to support site training, vendor meetings, or study-related activities
- • Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in the design, translation, and implementation of clinical outcome assessments
- • Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders, vendors, and clinical sites
- • Present findings and recommendations in professional settings to influence study design and assessment strategy decisions
- • Prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven clinical research environment
- • Ensure all assessment activities uphold data integrity, patient safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the drug development lifecycle
🎯 Requirements
- • Graduate degree (MA/MS) in psychology, behavioral sciences, or related field
- • Knowledge of psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments, including patient-reported outcome measures
- • Experience within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Ability to travel up to 20%
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
