📋 Description
- • Manage global payroll operations across multiple platforms including JustWorks, Remote.com/EOR, Deel, CONTPAQi, BVG/Swiss pension, and 1099s, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements across Mexico, the U.S., and Switzerland.
- • Oversee treasury and cash management functions, including bank reconciliations, foreign exchange (USD/MXN/CHF) monitoring, Ramp/credit card reviews, and execution of intercompany wire transfers.
- • Execute comprehensive month-end close activities across all entities, including accruals, prepaids, intercompany eliminations, and journal entry reviews to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- • Maintain multinational compliance with Swiss AHV/BVG regulations and Mexican SAT/CFDI requirements, ensuring all financial documentation meets local statutory standards.
- • Support audit preparation and response by providing documentation, managing PBCs (Prepared by Client) requests, and coordinating with external auditors for global financial audits.
- • Implement, optimize, and standardize financial systems and processes, with a focus on revenue recognition, subscription billing, and deferred revenue tracking aligned with SaaS business models.
- • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Operations, and Revenue teams to support financial consolidations, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal control enhancements.
- • Prepare internal financial statements and key performance metrics for leadership review, translating complex accounting data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- • Drive automation initiatives by leveraging SQL, PowerQuery, and Python to streamline data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows across global accounting systems.
- • Ensure adherence to US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards in all financial reporting activities, maintaining consistency across international operations.
- • Act as a key liaison between regional finance teams and global headquarters to align accounting practices, resolve discrepancies, and promote process uniformity.
- • Monitor and improve internal controls related to financial transactions, access permissions, and approval workflows to mitigate risk in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- • Support the Controller in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures tailored to the company’s multinational structure and SaaS revenue streams.
- • Participate in system evaluations and implementations for financial technology tools, ensuring seamless integration between payroll, billing, treasury, and general ledger platforms.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Prior experience in an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role, preferably within a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company
- • Strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial statement preparation under US GAAP or IFRS
- • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools, with dedicated focus on SQL, PowerQuery, and Python abilities to manipulate data and drive process efficiency
- • Excellent collaboration skills, able to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- • Experience managing global payroll across multiple platforms including JustWorks, Remote.com/EOR, Deel, CONTPAQi, BVG/Swiss pension, and 1099s
