Senior Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Platform

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on Tide’s Agentic Platform team, you will lead the architecture and design of shared capabilities that enable AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring Tide’s AI-powered services are trustworthy, efficient, and aligned with long-term platform goals.
• • You will define the architecture for context APIs, tool execution layers, policy controls, observability, and evaluation systems; drive build vs. buy decisions; integrate external components strategically; and establish standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience across teams.
• • You will partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to translate AI use cases into reusable platform capabilities, provide technical leadership, unblock complex cross-team challenges, and implement cost-management logic to optimize LLM usage across providers.
