📋 Description

• • The Assistant Distributive Trade Manager at Unilever PLC drives distribution, sales execution, and in-market excellence by leading distributor partners and their sales teams to ensure strong availability, visibility, and execution across all trade channels while delivering sustainable sales growth.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading, coaching, and supervising distributor sales teams; conducting joint field visits and structured business reviews; monitoring primary and secondary stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking; managing trade execution across General Trade, Modern Trade, and alternative channels; analyzing sales data to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities; managing trade investments and promotions; identifying root causes of sales shortfalls and implementing corrective actions; and driving expansion into new outlets to improve numeric and weighted distribution and product visibility.
• • The role sits within Unilever’s commercial operations in Malaysia, working closely with distributor partners to align on sales objectives, ensure adherence to commercial priorities, and drive execution excellence across all trade channels.
