• • The Assistant Finance Controller role in Germany supports accurate, compliant, and transparent financial operations across Assurant Europe, partnering with senior stakeholders to enable informed financial decision-making and sustainable growth.
• • Day to day, the role involves overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes; coordinating bookkeeping and transaction management; leading month-end close activities; supporting forecasting, budgeting, and planning; maintaining financial systems and controls; preparing audit materials; contributing to Solvency II and actuarial calculations; monitoring liquidity and treasury functions; preparing and reviewing payments; and collaborating with tax teams on VAT and Insurance Premium Tax compliance.
