- • Own the end-to-end growth agenda for Jiostar’s Pay TV and Value-Added Services (VAS) portfolio across Mumbai and surrounding markets. You will architect and execute high-impact marketing campaigns that move millions of viewers from Free-to-Air (FTA) and Direct-to-Analog (DA) platforms into the Pay TV ecosystem, while simultaneously accelerating adoption of premium VAS packs such as Bollywood Premier, Star Plus Super Hit Serials, Regional Movie Services, and 4K.
- • Translate complex consumer insights into laser-focused go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Build detailed personas, map decision journeys, and craft differentiated value propositions that resonate with cable operators, MSOs, LCOs, and end consumers. Your briefs will guide creative teams to produce thumb-stopping creatives, persuasive trade collaterals, and on-ground activation toolkits.
- • Design and manage a robust measurement framework that tracks every rupee spent. Own funnel metrics—cost per subscriber, cost to conversion, share of voice, penetration uplift, revenue per user on VAS—and build dynamic dashboards that surface real-time insights for sales, strategy, and finance stakeholders. Iterate campaigns weekly using test-and-learn sprints to maximize ROI.
- • Partner with distribution affiliates (DTH, cable, fiber, and OTT aggregators) to co-create hyper-local subscriber-building initiatives. From rural Maharashtra markets seeking regional movie packs to urban Mumbai clusters demanding 4K sports, you will tailor offers, pricing, and communication to unlock latent demand.
- • Lead high-decibel publicity campaigns across PR, trade media, and owned channels to support Pay TV transition narratives and marquee VAS launches. You will be the brand custodian who ensures consistent messaging, manages spokesperson quotes, and secures prime editorial slots in industry publications.
- • Act as the single point of contact between internal sales, product, legal, and finance teams and external distribution partners. Orchestrate seamless asset delivery, negotiate commercial terms, and resolve escalations to keep campaigns on track and relationships thriving.
- • Spearhead consumer activation programs—on-ground events, influencer tie-ups, retailer training, and referral schemes—that create buzz and accelerate word-of-mouth. You will manage end-to-end vendor coordination, from brief to payout, ensuring compliance and cost discipline.
- • Continuously scan the competitive landscape and emerging consumer trends to identify whitespace for new VAS offerings. Work with content acquisition and product teams to pilot niche packs (e.g., devotional, kids, or hyper-local news) and scale the winners nationally.
- • Present weekly performance reviews to senior leadership, translating complex data into compelling stories that secure additional budgets and cross-functional support. Your decks will influence investment decisions that shape Jiostar’s next wave of growth.
