- • Own and accelerate revenue growth for JioStar’s Emerging Market portfolio, a high-octane segment that powers 30 %+ of the platform’s ad income. You will craft and execute a region-specific business plan that converts untapped mid-tier brands into loyal, repeat advertisers while deepening wallet share with existing clients.
- • Hunt, pitch, solution and close deals end-to-end for 150 + new-age businesses every quarter—think D2C start-ups, fintechs, ed-techs, regional FMCG, and e-commerce enablers—translating their growth KPIs into data-driven media packages across JioStar’s TV network (19 channels) and streaming ecosystem (JioHotstar).
- • Act as the single-threaded owner for each account: from first cold call or inbound lead through campaign briefing, creative approvals, trafficking, in-flight optimisation, post-campaign analytics and renewal negotiation. Your CRM hygiene and weekly forecasting will feed directly into the company’s board-level revenue dashboards.
- • Build category playbooks that turn market intelligence into competitive advantage. You will mine BARC & Comscore data, social listening reports and proprietary JioStar insights to craft category stories (e.g., “How regional D2C brands grew 3× ROAS on IPL mid-roll”) that open doors with CMOs and media agency heads.
- • Orchestrate cross-functional squads—creative, ad-ops, pricing, product and data science—to deliver bespoke brand solutions such as interactive shoppable ad formats, regional language feed sponsorships, or always-on performance campaigns on JioHotstar’s self-serve platform.
- • Evangelise emerging tech within the sales org: pilot new attribution models, first-party data clean rooms, and AI-led creative versioning tools, then scale the winners across your patch. You will be the internal champion who turns tech buzz into tangible revenue lines.
- • Expand JioStar’s physical footprint by identifying and onboarding new channel partners, local media buying boutiques, and influencer networks in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Your quarterly partner summits will create a feedback loop that shapes product roadmaps and pricing levers.
- • Mentor a pod of 2-3 junior sales executives, setting their OKRs, reviewing pitch decks, and running deal clinics. Your leadership will raise the bar on consultative selling and ensure every team member hits 110 % of quota.
- • Represent JioStar at industry forums, startup conclaves and B-school case competitions, positioning the company as the definitive growth partner for emerging brands in India. Your thought-leadership articles and keynote talks will amplify our employer brand and attract top talent.
- • Champion diversity and inclusion in every client conversation—ensuring campaign briefs reflect inclusive storytelling and that JioStar’s ad policies remain free from discriminatory practices.
