Assistant Manager, Fund Administration (Core IS)

📋 Description

• • Lead and develop a team of investor services generalists responsible for core fund administration activities including distribution and redemption payments, capital contribution reconciliations, LP onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, investor reporting, investor communications, and K-1 tax form delivery.
• • Train, coach, and mentor junior team members to ensure consistent execution of operational processes and high-quality deliverables across all investor services functions.
• • Oversee daily team workflow by reviewing staffing allocations and project boards to ensure all client requests are processed accurately and within strict deadlines.
• • Conduct detailed reviews of team-generated deliverables to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
• • Serve as the primary point of escalation for client issues, resolving complex inquiries to improve customer satisfaction and maintain trust with fund managers and limited partners.
• • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and proactively design and implement improved systems to enhance operational accuracy, speed, and scalability.
• • Build and maintain internal tracking mechanisms to monitor key team performance metrics and customer-facing data points, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, compliance, and client success teams to align operational workflows with platform capabilities and client needs.
• • Adapt quickly to evolving client demands, regulatory changes, and product enhancements within the private markets fund administration space.
• • Maintain rigorous attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring no critical deadlines are missed despite shifting priorities.
• • Embrace a self-starter mindset by independently identifying operational gaps, proposing solutions, and driving implementation without requiring direction.
• • Support the scaling of operations in India by establishing best practices, standardizing training materials, and ensuring cultural and process alignment with global teams.
• • Participate in ongoing process audits and quality control initiatives to uphold Juniper Square’s standards for accuracy and client service excellence.
• • Utilize JunieAI and other internal platforms to streamline manual tasks, enhance data integrity, and improve team productivity across investor services workflows.
• • Ensure all activities comply with relevant financial regulations and internal control policies governing private market fund administration.
• • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team feedback and implementing changes that elevate service quality and operational efficiency.
• • Maintain clear, fluent, and professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders in English, both written and verbal.
• • Balance strategic oversight of team performance with hands-on involvement in complex or high-priority client deliverables as needed.
