- • Own and exceed quarterly revenue targets for a portfolio of mid-market advertisers in the Entertainment vertical, acting as the single point of accountability for every rupee booked and every campaign delivered.
- • Serve as JioStar’s ambassador in the market—building, deepening and protecting relationships with brand marketers, media agencies, creative agencies and trading desks across Kolkata and the East region.
- • Translate complex advertiser objectives into tailor-made, cross-platform solutions that span JioStar’s marquee TV network (Star Plus, Star Gold, Star Sports, etc.) and cutting-edge digital assets (JioCinema, JioHotstar, JioEngage, programmatic inventory, shoppable ads and more).
- • Maintain a living, breathing sales pipeline in Salesforce that is always 3× the quarterly quota; flag risks early, propose mitigation plans and keep leadership updated with concise, data-driven commentary.
- • Run consultative discovery workshops with clients to uncover whitespace opportunities, co-create joint business plans (JBPs) and lock in annual or multi-year commitments that secure predictable revenue streams.
- • Collaborate daily with Planning, Pricing, Yield, Operations, Content, Insights and Product teams to craft compelling proposals, negotiate make-goods and ensure 100 % campaign delivery against KPIs.
- • Leverage first-party and third-party data to build sharp audience segments, craft ROI narratives and present case studies that prove JioStar’s superiority over competing broadcasters and OTT platforms.
- • Execute high-impact client events—screenings, IPL watch parties, creator meet-ups, BTL activations—turning every touchpoint into a brand-building moment that deepens loyalty and drives upsell.
- • Track industry trends (e.g., CTV adoption, shoppable video, AI-generated creatives) and feed insights back to the product team, influencing roadmap decisions that keep JioStar two steps ahead of the curve.
- • Champion monthly run-rate deals, ensuring consistent cash-flow while layering on marquee tent-pole sponsorships around IPL, Pro-Kabaddi, Bigg Boss, and blockbuster movie premieres.
- • Document every client interaction in CRM, maintain clean data hygiene and generate weekly win-loss reports that help the wider sales organisation replicate successes and avoid pitfalls.
- • Mentor junior reps and interns, sharing pitch-deck templates, objection-handling playbooks and negotiation frameworks that raise the bar for the entire Mid-Market Sales pod.
- • Uphold JioStar’s values of integrity, inclusivity and innovation—ensuring every campaign is compliant with ASCI guidelines and respects viewer trust.
