You will maintain and continuously refine the Revenue Master and asset repositories, ensuring every rupee forecasted, booked, and realized is tracked with 99.9 % accuracy and delivered to Sales & Strategy teams ahead of tight deadlines.
- • Translate raw numbers into winning stories. Mine multi-source datasets (TAM, BARC, ad-server logs, YouTube Analytics, Meta Business Suite, OTT dashboards) to surface where India’s top 200 advertisers are moving their money next quarter. Your insights will directly influence pricing floors, inventory allocation, and go-to-market pitches for IPL, bilateral cricket, Pro-Kabaddi, and marquee global events.
- • Build predictive spend models that decode client psychology. Estimate advertiser outlays for every major sporting event by layering sports-affinity indices, seasonality curves, annual budget cycles, category competitiveness heat-maps, and macro-growth trajectories. Your models will guide senior leadership on which properties to double-down on and which to sunset.
- • Run a 360° competitive intelligence engine. Maintain a living tracker that maps daily moves of rival platforms—YouTube CPM shifts, Meta auction dynamics, Disney+ Hotstar sponsorship rates, Sony Sports spot-buy pricing—and convert that intel into battle cards that give our sales reps a first-mover advantage in every negotiation.
- • Spotlight the next wave of spenders. Deliver deep-dive briefs on both high-growth start-ups (ed-tech, fintech, D2C brands) and traditional sectors (auto, FMCG, BFSI) to show how their evolving sports marketing strategies will reshape the Indian advertising pie. Your narratives will be the opening slide in C-suite pitches.
- • Drive cross-functional storytelling. Translate complex regression outputs and pivot-table monsters into crisp, board-ready visuals and one-page strategic memos. Sales leaders will quote your decks in client meetings; Strategy VPs will use them to re-forecast annual revenue.
- • Champion data governance and automation. Identify repetitive tasks in the current workflow and build lightweight macros, SQL snippets, or Google-Sheets add-ons that cut turnaround time by 30 % while raising accuracy. Your obsession with detail will become the team’s competitive moat.
- • Be the culture carrier for curiosity. Host fortnightly “Data Dive” brown-bags where you teach new Excel hacks, BARC filters, or Python tricks. Your enthusiasm will elevate the analytical quotient of the entire Ad Sales organization.
- • Influence pricing strategy in real time. When last-minute inventory opens up or a rival slashes rates, you will simulate revenue scenarios on the fly and recommend dynamic floor prices that protect yield while maximizing win-rates.
- • Report to the Director of Revenue Strategy and enjoy a direct line to the Chief Revenue Officer. Your analysis will be the quantitative backbone for decisions that steer hundreds of crores in annual ad revenue.
