- • Own the end-to-end revenue playbook for Hindi Movies (HMOV), translating the channel’s content slate into a monetisation engine that outperforms market benchmarks. You will act as the single-threaded owner who sits at the intersection of programming, sales, finance and data science to ensure every rupee of inventory is forecast accurately, priced optimally and sold profitably.
- • Architect and refresh the annual revenue strategy in lock-step with the Head of Revenue Strategy & Pricing. This includes setting pricing corridors for spot, FCT and impact packages, defining discount guardrails, and modelling scenarios that factor in genre share shifts, competitive launches and macro-economic headwinds.
- • Translate World Television Premieres (WTP) into high-yield revenue events. You will size the audience potential using BARC, MRI and proprietary JioStar data, craft tiered sponsorship constructs (title, presenting, powered-by, etc.), and work with programming to align promo weight and on-air integrations that maximise advertiser ROI.
- • Build a living, breathing forecast model that updates daily with sales funnel data, inventory burn rate and pricing realisation. Present a weekly revenue health dashboard to the Sales CH, CSP and RH that flags risks 4-6 weeks in advance and prescribes corrective levers (rate card resets, added value bundles, scatter fire-sales).
- • Run deep-dive category intelligence for Auto, BFSI, FMCG, E-com and Telecom to surface share-of-wallet opportunities. Translate insights into actionable pitch kits—complete with reach curves, CPRP trends, halo-effect case studies and competitive gap analysis—that frontline sales teams can deploy in under 24 hours.
- • Partner with the Deal Desk and Legal to structure annual, quarterly and spot deals that balance volume commitments with rate integrity. You will simulate claw-back clauses, bonus weight and make-good scenarios to protect margin while giving clients flexibility.
- • Own the pricing governance forum: chair weekly pricing councils, approve exception pricing within delegated authority, and escalate larger deviations with clear commercial rationale. Ensure every price change is logged in the BI layer for future yield optimisation.
- • Drive post-campaign analytics that prove advertiser value. Work with the data science pod to build multi-touch attribution models linking TV exposures to search lift, site visits and sales. Package results into renewal decks that grow existing accounts by 15-20 % YoY.
- • Pilot new revenue formats—shoppable ads, dynamic ad insertion on CTV, branded short-form content—and run controlled experiments to validate incremental yield. Present business cases with IRR, NPV and payback metrics to secure seed inventory and promo support.
- • Mentor a junior analyst on SQL, Tableau and advanced Excel; create a culture of hypothesis-driven storytelling where every chart answers the “so what” within 10 seconds.
