  • • Join Unispace Global Pty Ltd as an Assistant Preconstruction Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of dynamic global workplaces. In this exciting opportunity, you will be instrumental in the early stages of our innovative construction projects, contributing directly to winning new business and ensuring a seamless transition from concept to delivery.
  • • As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will support the Pre-Construction Manager in meticulously planning and coordinating all pre-construction activities. This involves a deep dive into project documentation, ensuring every detail is accounted for before construction even begins.
  • • Your responsibilities will include the critical review of drawings and specifications. You will be tasked with identifying potential scope gaps, anticipating constructability challenges, and proactively seeking out value-engineering opportunities to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing. This requires ensuring that scopes of work are clearly defined, consistent across all trades, and perfectly aligned with project requirements, fostering a competitive yet collaborative bidding environment.
  • • You will manage essential bid documentation, including Request for Information (RFIs), addendums, and tender queries, ensuring all communication is accurate, timely, and effectively managed to maintain project momentum.
  • • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive cost plans, estimates, and project budgets during the bid and early project phases. This requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction costs to provide accurate financial projections.
  • • Support the development of robust pre-construction programmes and procurement schedules, ensuring that timelines are realistic and achievable, setting the stage for efficient project execution.
  • • Maintain precise and organized records of all pricing, assumptions made during the bidding process, and identified risk items. This meticulous record-keeping is crucial for project transparency and future reference.
  • • Help prepare compelling client presentations, proposals, and essential handover documentation. Your contributions will be vital in communicating project plans and securing client buy-in.
  • • Foster strong collaboration by liaising effectively with internal teams, including design, commercial, and delivery departments, to guarantee a smooth and integrated handover of projects from the pre-construction phase into the construction phase.
  • • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and consultants. Building these strong partnerships is key to successful project delivery and future collaborations.
  • • Your efforts will be measured by the accuracy and coordination of tender submissions, the timeliness and organization of support for live bids and pre-construction activities, the strength of collaboration with project teams and subcontractors, and the seamless handover of information to delivery teams.
  • • This role is ideal for an organized and commercially aware construction professional eager to deepen their pre-construction expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally recognized environment. You will be contributing to transformative workplace projects for leading global brands, making a tangible impact on how people work and thrive.
  • • Unispace is committed to transforming workplaces, and this role is at the forefront of that mission. You will be part of a company that values its people, offering a comprehensive Employee Value Proposition program that includes rewards, recognition, career development, and a strong focus on well-being. We embrace flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options, to support a healthy work-life balance and harness the full potential of our diverse workforce.
  • • By joining Unispace, you will be contributing to a company that believes positive work environments cultivate open, collaborative, and supportive cultures. You will be empowered to grow, develop, and make a significant contribution to our ongoing success in delivering exceptional workplace solutions worldwide.
