- • As an Associate Agile Project Manager at Nebraska Blue Cross and Blue Shield, you will play a pivotal role in leading Agile teams and projects to deliver business value through servant leadership and facilitation, directly supporting the organization’s mission to champion the health and well-being of members and communities.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate project planning and delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives; partner with management to remove impediments and resolve conflicts; monitor metrics to improve team maturity; develop and track project execution plans, budgets, milestones, and quality; collaborate on resource allocation; and maintain focus on customer experience amid changing priorities.

- • In this role, you will develop advanced Agile project management skills, gain experience coordinating multiple stable teams, strengthen your change management and coaching abilities, and build expertise in enterprise-level stakeholder communication and process adherence—positioning you for growth into senior project leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 1+ years of demonstrated experience managing multiple projects across various methodologies or phases
- • Demonstrated excellence in change management and coaching others
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to build relationships at all enterprise levels, including external vendors
- • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
- • Professional certification such as CAPM, CSM, PMP, or PMI-ACP (strongly preferred)
- • Prior experience in the health insurance industry (strongly preferred)
