📋 Description
- • Associate Backend Software Engineer role focused on backend design and development for Revvity's Signals Notebook cloud application, contributing to high-impact features for the scientific community.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating on priorities and specifications, crafting clean and tested code, building secure and performant interfaces, maintaining core SSO application (Ruby), and integrating with Java/Vert.x through REST APIs to deliver new functionalities.
- • Part of the Signals Software team at Revvity, a global developer of end-to-end health solutions with 11,000+ colleagues dedicated to solving scientific and clinical challenges through innovation and disruptive technology.
- • Opportunity to grow technical expertise in Java, Vert.x, AWS, REST APIs, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development (Claude Code), while contributing to customer-focused features in a collaborative, international engineering environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 0 - 1 year of professional work experience (and/or internship)
- • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- • Good SQL concepts and ability to write complex queries
- • Understanding of REST APIs
- • Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins GitHub)
