  • • As an Associate Benefit Advisor at eHealthInsurance Services, Inc., you will play a vital role in guiding consumers through one of the most important decisions of their lives—selecting health insurance coverage—by providing expert, compassionate advice over the phone in a seasonal, remote sales position that directly impacts access to quality care.
  • • You will listen to beneficiaries’ needs, consult on available plans from top national and regional insurers, and advise them on the best coverage options for their situation, ensuring transparency and trust in every interaction while meeting daily sales metrics and goals in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • • Your initial training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to pass your state health insurance licensing exam, followed by six weeks of hands-on onboarding to get you fully prepared to succeed in this role, with ongoing support to build confidence and competence.
  • • You will be required to toggle between multiple computer systems and applications while on calls, demonstrating strong technological proficiency to manage customer records, plan comparisons, and enrollment tools efficiently.
  • • During the Annual Enrollment period (October 15th to December 7th), you may be required to work extended hours and make outbound follow-up calls to nurture leads and cross-sell ancillary products such as dental, vision, or supplemental insurance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Must be able to obtain your resident state health insurance license or currently possess an active health insurance license.
  • • Previous sales experience or a demonstrated passion for learning and growing in a sales role.
  • • Strong technology skills with the ability to easily navigate between multiple computer systems and screens while on the phone.
  • • Coachable and teachable mindset with a willingness to accept feedback and improve performance.
  • • High level of integrity and customer focus, aligning with eHealth’s mission and values in all behaviors and decisions.
  • • Availability to work 5:00AM–5:00PM PST, including weekends as needed, and extended hours during the Annual Enrollment period (October 15th–December 7th).

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive base pay of $20.00 per hour plus uncapped commission incentives, with an annual commission target of $23,400.
