  • • As an Associate Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and our technological solutions. You will be instrumental in understanding, documenting, and improving our internal business processes and systems, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with Owlet's strategic goals.
  • • This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for problem-solving and a keen interest in how technology can drive business success. You will work closely with various departments, including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support, to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and propose system enhancements.
  • • Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, translating these requirements into functional specifications, and working with development teams to ensure successful implementation. You will also be involved in testing new system functionalities, providing user training, and supporting the ongoing optimization of our business systems.
  • • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, customer relationship management (CRM) platform, and other critical business applications. This involves identifying areas for automation, streamlining existing processes, and ensuring data integrity across all platforms.
  • • A key aspect of this role is to act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and technical constraints. You will be responsible for creating process flow diagrams, use cases, and other documentation to support system design and development.
  • • You will participate in project planning, status reporting, and risk assessment, contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • • Furthermore, you will be involved in data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and provide insights that inform business decisions. This may include developing reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • • You will also support the training and onboarding of new users on our business systems, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to utilize these tools effectively. This includes developing training materials and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • • Proven experience in a business systems analyst, systems analyst, or similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of business processes and system analysis methodologies.
  • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into actionable steps.
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • • Proficiency in documenting business requirements, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
  • • Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems is highly desirable.
