- • The Associate Construction Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing small to medium-sized facility construction projects across the company’s campus, labs, and locations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing scope development, design, implementation, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and client satisfaction; managing contractor and consultant work; creating and maintaining project documentation such as scopes of work, drawings, contracts, schedules, change order logs, and meeting minutes; providing budget estimates; coordinating stakeholders including clients, internal partners, designers, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction; managing the financial process from estimates and bidding to purchase orders and close-out; conducting field verification of work for compliance with standards; monitoring supplier and subcontractor performance; escalating issues from disputes or sub-standard performance; and handling project close-out and reporting.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- • 2+ years’ experience with facilities construction projects in trades and/or coordination of work
- • Basic knowledge of estimating, bidding, and managing construction contracts
- • Ability to read construction documents, including scopes of work, and to write clear scopes of work
- • Computer skills using MS Office and email
- • Ability to adhere to established time frames and schedules, ability to work under pressure
- • Ability to travel occasionally (10-15%) to manage remote projects
