- • Embed within one of Jerry’s core business units — Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships — to own the end-to-end analytical function for that domain.
- • Define the right business questions before analyzing data, pushing back on flawed or ambiguous problems to ensure analyses drive meaningful decisions.
- • Build and maintain metrics, reports, and dashboards using SQL (ClickHouse) and Metabase to track key performance indicators and surface actionable insights.
- • Conduct independent data analyses using Python and Jupyter Hub to uncover trends, test hypotheses, and evaluate the impact of product or marketing initiatives.
- • Design and interpret experiments to inform product iterations, customer acquisition strategies, and operational improvements.
- • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, persuasive recommendations for stakeholders in product, growth, finance, and operations teams.
- • Drive decision-making by communicating insights directly to leadership, ensuring data informs strategy without reliance on slides or unnecessary documentation.
- • Own outcomes end-to-end: from identifying problems and gathering data to implementing solutions and measuring impact, with no handoffs or bureaucratic delays.
- • Act as a first-principles problem solver, breaking down ambiguous business challenges into testable hypotheses before writing code or running queries.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to align data initiatives with business goals and ensure execution fidelity.
- • Use GitHub for version control and collaboration on analytical code and pipelines, maintaining clean, reproducible workflows.
- • Contribute to scaling Jerry’s data infrastructure as the company grows from 5M to 50M customers, supporting expansion into new verticals like home, motorcycle, and RV ownership.
- • Operate with ownership mentality — fix problems outside your formal scope if they impact business outcomes, and take accountability for results.
- • Eliminate corporate fluff: focus only on work that materially moves key business metrics, with no unnecessary meetings, approvals, or reporting overhead.
- • Work in a high-impact, fast-paced environment where analytical rigor directly shapes product roadmaps, growth strategies, and partnership decisions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- • Strong analytical skills with ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data using SQL and Python
- • Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable business impact
- • Clear, persuasive communication skills to influence decisions at the leadership level
- • Experience working in embedded analytical roles within product, growth, or operations teams
- • Comfort with experimentation, A/B testing, and metric-driven decision-making
