- • The Associate Director of Accounting (LATAM) will own general ledger accounting processes for P&L across Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements for the Clinical Solutions organization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing journal entries and preparing complex GL entries, managing AP spend and cash flow forecasts, approving invoices, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, finalizing SGA budgets and forecasts, training and mentoring staff, implementing internal controls, reviewing vendor and customer spend, ensuring revenue recognition compliance per ASC 606, supporting audit preparations, and serving as the primary point of contact for local accounting and tax partners.
- • Precision Medicine Group is expanding its Clinical Solutions capabilities across LATAM and seeks a strategic accounting leader to strengthen financial controls, support growth initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- • The role offers the opportunity to lead accounting operations across multiple countries, develop and mentor a finance team, influence strategic financial decisions, gain exposure to cross-border financial reporting and acquisitions, and deepen expertise in US GAAP, local statutory standards, and financial systems integration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or local equivalent accounting designation preferred
- • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant accounting experience
- • Proven experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support
- • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, international accounting standards, and local statutory requirements in LATAM countries
- • Spanish language proficiency to communicate effectively with local teams, auditors, and regulatory authorities
