- • Spearhead the strategic vision and execution for Natera's Signatera clinical trial matching product, focusing on oncology applications. This pivotal role involves shaping the future of the Signatera product line, including current and next-generation tissue-informed MRD products, with a primary objective of significantly increasing and accelerating patient enrollment in clinical trials.
- • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept and ideation through to development, launch, and eventual obsolescence. This includes defining the long-term product roadmap, prioritizing key features and development programs, and ensuring the product meets evolving market needs and company objectives.
- • Translate complex customer needs, market opportunities, and operational constraints into clear, actionable product requirements. This involves deep engagement with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- • Take ownership of product performance, establishing key metrics, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategic improvements. This data-driven approach is crucial for optimizing product efficacy and market success.
- • Lead Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives, conducting in-depth interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to validate product features, identify unmet needs, and enhance overall customer satisfaction and value proposition.
- • Develop compelling business cases and financial models for new product initiatives and feature enhancements, presenting data-backed arguments to secure stakeholder buy-in and investment for strategic roadmap items.
- • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to define product positioning, develop comprehensive market launch plans, establish pricing strategies, and create essential marketing collateral that effectively communicates the product's value.
- • Serve as a key liaison, providing regular, transparent updates on product vision, development progress, and roadmap advancements to both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering strong communication and alignment.
- • Manage and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and external partners within the oncology and clinical trial space to gather insights, validate strategies, and drive adoption.
- • Contribute to the development of Natera's overall oncology strategy, ensuring the clinical trial matching product is a cornerstone of the company's commitment to personalized genetic testing and diagnostics.
- • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product management function, encouraging proactive identification of new opportunities and challenges in the rapidly evolving field of oncology diagnostics and clinical trials.
- • Ensure seamless integration of the clinical trial matching product with other Natera offerings, creating a cohesive and powerful suite of solutions for oncologists, researchers, and patients.
- • Champion the product internally, acting as the subject matter expert and evangelist to educate and inspire sales, marketing, R&D, and clinical teams about the product's capabilities and strategic importance.
- • Oversee the development and refinement of user interfaces and user experiences for the product, ensuring intuitive design and maximum utility for healthcare professionals and researchers.
- • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry trends in oncology diagnostics and clinical trials, ensuring the product remains compliant and competitive.
- • Drive the strategic planning process for the Signatera product line, contributing to the 5-year strategic vision and ensuring alignment with Natera's broader corporate goals.
- • Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to identify new product opportunities and potential threats, proactively adjusting the product strategy as needed.
- • Work with engineering and R&D teams to define technical requirements and ensure the successful development and implementation of product features, balancing innovation with practical execution.
- • Develop and manage product budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment for product initiatives.
- • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, outlining product strategy, performance, and future plans, influencing key strategic decisions.
- • Ensure the product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and clinical utility, contributing to Natera's reputation for excellence in diagnostic solutions.
- • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the product team and all other departments, including Molecular Biology R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical Affairs, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Business Development, to ensure successful product lifecycle management.
- • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product, using data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the product's performance and market impact.
- • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product features and enhancements, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure successful commercialization and adoption.
- • Act as a mentor and leader for junior product managers or team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to the growth of the product management organization.
- • Continuously evaluate and refine the product development process, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, speed, and quality in bringing new innovations to market.
- • Ensure the product strategy aligns with Natera's mission to change the management of disease worldwide through advanced genetic testing and diagnostics.
