  • • As an Associate Director of Field Medical Affairs, you will be at the forefront of scientific exchange, fostering critical collaborations with leading Oncology disease experts across northern California and Nevada. Your primary role will be to serve as a vital scientific and medical resource, deeply understanding the complexities of the Oncology therapeutic area. This involves presenting cutting-edge scientific and clinical data, as well as providing disease state awareness in response to inquiries from a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including specialists, practitioners, investigators, research coordinators, and site personnel. You will also engage with internal partners, ensuring seamless communication and knowledge dissemination.
  • • A key responsibility involves identifying and meticulously maintaining a comprehensive list of relevant medical and therapeutic area professionals, along with key investigator targets. You will develop and execute strategic plans of action for engaging these individuals, building and nurturing scientific relationships.
  • • You will play an integral role in the development and management of clinical trials. This includes reviewing concept proposals, contributing to the development of protocols, and identifying and assisting in the selection of appropriate investigators and trial sites. Your involvement will extend to supporting site initiation and enrollment activities, ensuring the smooth progression of research endeavors.
  • • Acting as a primary resource for healthcare professionals within the surrounding trial site communities is paramount. You will collaborate closely with Clinical Development and other trial staff to effectively implement strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment and efficient execution.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be establishing and maintaining robust scientific relationships with investigators and Medical Affairs teams. You will actively support the investigator-initiated study (IIS) concept program, identifying unmet research needs within the company and creating opportunities by collaborating with potential and existing investigators and site personnel.
  • • You will be responsible for conducting disease education sessions with identified practitioners, payers, and researchers, sharing critical insights and advancing understanding of the therapeutic area.
  • • Attending major medical conferences is a crucial part of this role. You will be tasked with collecting and reporting relevant scientific, clinical, and competitive intelligence, providing valuable market insights and staying abreast of the latest advancements.
  • • You will assist in the management of clinical data, ensuring the rapid and accurate communication of scientific and clinical results. This support is vital for the development of abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts, contributing to the dissemination of research findings.
