đź“‹ Description

  • • Are you a visionary leader passionate about driving successful technology adoption within the federal government? Gem.com, Inc. is seeking an exceptional Change Management Consultant to spearhead our Salesforce federal delivery practice. This contingent role, dependent on a successful bid award, places you at the forefront of transforming how federal agencies leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies, specifically Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • • As a cornerstone of our federal practice, you will be empowered to shape and execute our enablement strategy. This isn't a role where you'll simply follow a predefined script; you will be the architect of impact and adoption, ensuring our mission-critical clients achieve their objectives through seamless integration and effective utilization of these powerful platforms.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored for both end-users and system administrators. This involves understanding the unique needs and challenges within federal environments and developing curricula that are not only informative but also engaging and sustainable.
  • • You will manage and oversee the entire onboarding process for new users, ensuring a smooth transition into complex federal cloud ecosystems. This includes developing onboarding materials, facilitating training sessions, and providing ongoing support to guarantee users feel confident and competent from day one.
  • • A critical aspect of this role is driving the change management process. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and federal stakeholders to navigate cultural and technical shifts, mitigate resistance, and foster a positive environment for technological advancement. This requires a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and effective communication strategies.
  • • You will be instrumental in implementing advanced strategies and tools to monitor and significantly increase user engagement across both Salesforce and AWS environments. This involves analyzing usage data, identifying adoption barriers, and developing targeted interventions to promote deeper utilization and maximize the value derived from these platforms.
  • • Beyond direct user enablement, you will provide invaluable guidance and best practices to our development and consulting teams. Your expertise will influence the user experience and system sustainability, ensuring that solutions are not only technically sound but also user-centric and built for the long term.
  • • Maintaining and applying expert knowledge of Salesforce certifications and enablement protocols is essential. You will stay abreast of the latest Salesforce updates, best practices, and certification requirements, ensuring our enablement strategies are always current and effective.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the latest cloud technologies and contribute to pioneering how Salesforce and Amazon cloud environments are utilized by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies. Your work will have a tangible impact across the entire brand and contribute to the success of some of the nation's most important initiatives.
  • • You will be expected to be US-based, ideally within the DC Metro Area, with flexibility for remote and hybrid work. In-person engagements will include visits to customer sites, Salesforce offices, and Thunder offices in Tysons Corner, VA, fostering strong relationships and collaborative problem-solving.
  • • If you are a proactive problem-solver who thrives on the challenge of leading training, onboarding, and change management in complex federal environments, and you are eager to shape enablement strategies while working with leading cloud technologies, this role is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-7 years of experience leading training, onboarding, and change management cycles, with hands-on experience in automated enablement platforms.
  • • Significant experience with the Salesforce suite of products, especially Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Agentforce.
  • • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing enablement for large, complex federal projects.
  • • Strong strategic thinking and ability to align training solutions with federal business objectives.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • • US Citizenship Required, with ability and willingness to obtain security clearance(s).

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Comprehensive Benefits with Sequoia: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employer-Paid Life Disability Insurance.
  • • Ownership & Impact: Stock options in a fast-moving, high-growth company.
  • • Level Up Your Career: Opportunities for growth through mentorship, certifications, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.
  • • People-First Flexibility: A culture that listens, evolves, and adapts to employee feedback.
